Dechen Tsang
Dechen was born and raised in Tibet, in the province of Kham. He studied painting from a young age with his uncle Geshe Tashi Dorje, as well as at the monastery. He undertook his apprenticeship with Namjyal. He is a master of menri and karma gadri styles; he has painted many frescoes, as well as altars in monasteries of for private individuals.
He arrived in Switzerland in 2006 and contributed to making the throne and the mandala for the visit by His Holiness the Dalai Lama to Lausanne in 2009.
